Owls in a Nest  Tea Cosy

Don’t we all love owls, such beautiful creatures that come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and beauty.  Often we only see them in images and documentaries.  That’s is where they belong, in the natural wilderness, the owl chooses to be in.   NOT in an avery or somewhere feeding some humans self-absorb need to own and brag, what is there to brag, ….  oh it’s just too awful to think about it, it makes my blood boil and my heart sink

To celebrate them and bring this awareness, I decided to create a tea cosy & supply the pattern, with an owl theme but not what is already out there…  here is the outcome of my idea.  Hope you like it.  Here is the pattern link  and you will also be inspired to make it.  Love to see what you did

Yes included is the pattern for the honey bee that is cheekily hanging around.  The pattern calls for chunky yarn for the cosy itself and the rest is made of DK (double knit yarn.  It is easily adaptable (included in the pattern) to make it for a coffee pot or teapot that is longer than the norm.
